Other Years Practice times and Locations

Each year, the Burke Centre Conservancy must approve our pool usage requests.  We will not know the final practice times and locations until the BCC approves our request.  Below is the schedule for each team from the 2022 season. 

BC PENGUINS Practice Times and Locations

all practices at the Landings Pool- 6001 Cove Landing Road. Burke, VA 22015

May 31 - June 10 (Afternoon practice while FCPS still in session)

4:00-5:00 pm	Grades 7-12
5:00-5:45 pm	Grades Kindergarten-3
5:45-6:30 pm	Grades 4-6 *

* For any 5th or 6th graders (11-12 year olds) who have earlier release times and can attend the 4-5pm practice, consider attending that session to reduce the load on the normally busy grade 4-6 slot (5:45-6:30pm).

June 13 – Last A/B Meet (Practice times for age groups may change for Divisionals and All Stars)

AGE	MONDAY – THURSDAY	FRIDAY ++
11 and over	7:00-8:15 am	8:00-9:00am
9-10	8:15-9:25 am	8:45-9:45am
8 and under	9:25-10:25 am +	9:30-10:25am

+  The "minis" who typically practice in the shallow end of the Landings pool, will be split into two groups; one practicing from 9:25am-9:55am & the other from 9:55am-10:25am.

++ The overlap in practice time is for costume judging and Fun Friday activities.

BC Stingers Practice Times and Locations

after-school practices at the Commons Pool-5701 Roberts Parkway Burke, VA 22015 (for the 2023 season, afternoon practices MAY be at the Woods Pool)

May 31 - June 10 (Afternoon practice while FCPS still in session)

4:55-5:40 pm	Ages: 8 and Under/Minis
5:35-6:35 pm	Ages: 9-11
6:30-7:30 pm	Ages: 12 and Over

all summer practices at the Woods Pool- 10100 Wards Grove Circle,  Burke, VA 22015

June 13 – Last A/B Meets (All-Stars will continue practice through the end of the season)
